A Bit About Me

Ryan Joseph Villa Alegre (RJ), born on October 6 1999, whose name means “Village of a Happy Little King that God will bless”—is a multidisciplinary “creative cyborg” artist who blends traditional and digital artistry into one unified craft. He developed his skills through studies at Cypress College and John Paul the Great Catholic University, refining both his technical foundation and creative vision. As the eldest of the siblings, he brings both maturity and a unique, distinctive imagination to creĀRTus.

At creĀRTus, RJ contributes as an artist for characters Art and Artus, where he continues to expand his range across visual storytelling and conceptual design with aspirations of launching his own independent comics. Currently, Katta & Ava, a creĀRTus work in progress is Ryan's playground to grow his skills.

Altogether as an artist, RJ is deeply inspired by comics, sci-fi, and science fantasy, and his long-term goal is to create an original comic series of his own—one that merges compelling storytelling with visually immersive world-building.

Growing in his artistry, Ryan has evolved not just as a comic artist but as media artist altogether; and has worked on documentary printed articles (format changed when uploaded, access below link, other article is work in progress). Ryan kindly asks for your feedback as your read his article(s), thank you.
