Cyndi Abundabar Ting, is the creative advisor for creĀRTus. She has been an educator and community organizer for over 20 years. Through her role as a Special Education teacher, Cyndi was one of Ryan Alegre’s teachers in the Autism focus program & Friday Night Live, a California youth empowerment program A few years later, Jayden worked with “Mrs Ting” in Friday Night Live as well.
 

Cyndi is a California native who lived in the Philippines for a few years as a teenager. She has a unique perspective from experiencing life in the Philippines during her formative years. It drives her passion to continue to educate future generations of our Filipino American history while grounding in Filipino cultural traditions.  She has served on the board for the FANHS OCIE since 2022 in various capacities.

Cyndi is a late-diagnosed neurodiverse individual and parent to children with diverse needs. Through her family’s immigrant journey, Cyndi has leaned into our generational strengths to heal our generational trauma, and facilitates spaces for others to do so as well. She enjoys traveling and spending time with loved ones. She captures memories through scrapbooking and other media.
